LGBTQ+ Peer Support Group

Our LGBTQ+ Creatives Peer Support Group was founded by a participant on our Positive Active Minds Programme (PAM). The group offers a safe and inclusive environment for young people aged 11-17 who identify as part of or are allies of the LGBTQ+ community.

The group decide on the activities they want to do and the topics that they want to discuss, however as with everything we do at CLIMB 4 this is based in creativity. For example, they do weekly quizzes, play board games but also talk about what’s going on for them, create pieces of art for our events and displays, have sewn bags and aprons, done Tye dye t-shirts and other creative activities.

The group have formed good friendships with one another and are keen to support others who join.
