Lived Experience Pathway
Our Lived Experience Pathway enables people with lived experience of or those who have supported others with poor mental or physical health and well-being to use and build upon their skills to volunteer and if applicable progress into paid work or employment.
The Lived Experience Pathway is ideal for people who have for example experienced being a single parent or carer, had postnatal depression, cared for family members with SEND, experienced or cared for someone with low mood, mild depression and/or anxiety.
The pathway is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund (PAM) and Henry Smith, for those who are eligible this includes...
- FREE access to our STEPP Up programme
- Peer Mentor Training
- Volunteering with us for a minimum of six weeks
- If available opportunity to gain sessional work with us on successful completion of the above.
For those who are not eligible for funded places – fees may apply. An initial informal meeting will be held to talk through the programmes in more detail and get an idea of areas individuals may want to volunteer/have the relevant experience for.
